Imagining sparks from earth’s stones
I envisioned the extension
of light

Coalescing with heat
I opened like a flower
once again
to the erogenous
seduction of words

After the fire
the waiting
seeds
are poised
as I gaze into the unknown
placing my trust
in the river

nice poetry, J…reminds me of this wonderful passage: “When you walk to the edge of all the light you have and take that first step into the darkness of the unknown, you must believe that one of two things will happen. There will be something solid for you to stand upon or you will be taught to fly.” ~Patrick Overton, The Learning Tree: (Poems)…either way, there is gain…there is awakening…there is transformation…

Like water in a still pond
images and symbols are reflected but they also begin to surface
at the same time from the depths of the pond
As they coalesce, the holographic insight of fire and light comes in waves
informing and transforming the blueprint of my life.
I’m familiar with this alchemy now
even though it moves through me differently each time
and I’m seeing the process for me is much deeper within community

Erogenous seduction of words… love the sensation of these.
I love your drawing too – it speaks to me of flight, as well as a sense of straining at the knots… 🙂
