walking deftly
under the ladders
of hierarchy

While circumnavigating
the solid grid of references
they wander barefoot
dancing Flamenco
The flight of their passion
entertaining the complexities
of insight
bright seeds
planted in fecund dust
under the radar

tree
spiralling
free

rubber souls
bouncing voices
in unison
creating
chaotic choirs

our
twirling
tomorrows
planting
wishes

The element of dance in the poem was intended, although I had them donning Cuban heels. When I stumbled on this perfect picture, I had her take her shoes off, better to touch the earth, I think ….
