cross lines that aren’t there
feel gravity’s holding
move in your own way

that exist and than smolder
without singular breath

“Songlines” comes from Australian Aboriginal cosmology. Each person of a clan can and will literally “sing” the land terrain of the path their ancestors took upon entering this world, as they go walk about retracing this emergence. Seemed a fitting metaphor for real intimacy.
